Toilet Repair

To repair a toilet, a plumber first turns off the water supply valve and flushes the toilet to drain the tank. Then, they remove the tank lid and disconnect the water supply line and the mounting bolts that secure the tank to the bowl. Next, they remove the old flapper or flush valve and replace it with a new one. Finally, they reattach the tank to the bowl, reconnect the water supply line, and turn the water supply valve back on.

Water Heater Installation

A plumber installs a water heater to ensure that hot water is readily available for use in a home or building. The installation process typically involves turning off the water and gas supply, draining the old water heater, removing it, and then installing the new one. The plumber will also connect the water and gas lines, test the system for leaks, and ensure that the water heater is functioning properly before leaving.

Pipe Repair/Replace

When a plumber conducts a pipe repair, they first identify the location and cause of the damage. This may involve using specialized tools to inspect the pipes and determine the extent of the problem. Once the issue has been identified, the plumber will typically shut off the water supply the affected area and remove any damaged sections of pipe. They will then replace the damaged pipe with a new section and ensure that it is properly secured and sealed. This process is important to prevent leaks and ensure that the plumbing system is functioning properly.

Drain Cleaning

When a drain is clogged, a plumber will typically use a drain snake or auger to clear the blockage. This tool is inserted into the drain and rotated to break up and remove the obstruction. In some cases, a plumber may also use a hydro jet to flush out the drain with high-pressure water. It's important to address clogged drains promptly to prevent further damage and ensure proper drainage.
